Terms of Service – SkillBridge Network

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of websites, applications, and related services operated by SkillBridge Network ("SkillBridge", "we", "us", "our")—including public marketing pages, marketplace discovery surfaces, and links to separate client and provider workspaces hosted at our application domain.
By accessing or using SkillBridge Network, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. DESCRIPTION OF THE PLATFORM
SkillBridge Network provides an AI-assisted marketplace through which clients may discover providers, browse services, view live jobs and events, participate in bidding where offered, explore marketplace and auction-style listings where available, and communicate and transact through dedicated client and provider workspaces. Features vary by jurisdiction, role, and account status.
3. ACCOUNTS & ELIGIBILITY
You must provide accurate registration information and safeguard your credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the marketplace.
4. MARKETPLACE RULES
Users agree not to:
- Misrepresent identity, licensing, insurance, or qualifications
- Circumvent payment flows where required by SkillBridge
- Harass, abuse, spam, or fraud other users
- Attempt to scrape, overload, or disrupt the platform
- Use the platform for unlawful goods or services
5. PAYMENTS & FEES
Certain transactions may be processed through integrated payment providers (for example Stripe). Fees, escrow-style protections, and payout timing depend on product flows and tier rules disclosed at checkout or in provider agreements. Taxes may apply based on applicable law.
6. AI-ASSISTED FEATURES
SkillBridge may offer AI-assisted discovery, drafting, estimating, ranking, or messaging tools. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Users remain responsible for confirming critical facts (pricing, scope, licensing, scheduling, safety). AI tools do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
SkillBridge branding, software, documentation, and marketing materials are owned by SkillBridge or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they submit but grant SkillBridge a license to operate and promote the marketplace as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. DISCLAIMERS
THE PLATFORM AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKILLBRIDGE DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SKILLBRIDGE DOES NOT EMPLOY PROVIDERS DIRECTLY AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE OUTCOMES OF ANY JOB OR TRANSACTION.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SKILLBRIDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE FEES SKILLBRIDGE EARNED FROM YOUR TRANSACTION IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100 USD).
10. INDEMNITY
You agree to defend and indemnify SkillBridge against claims arising from your content, offerings, misuse of the platform, or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by SkillBridge's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State chosen by SkillBridge in separate notices or contracts where applicable. Mandatory arbitration or venue clauses may apply when separately accepted by providers or enterprises.
12. CHANGES
We may modify these Terms by posting updates on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
